Dear Travelers, Our homeland is Bulgaria, but we have been residing in Canada for over 14 years. Back in March, we have decided to include and revisit Istanbul during our trip to Bulgaria. We’ve made an extensive research between travel agencies in Bulgaria and Turkey but lesstur.com was the winner in this “contest” with the following key points: 1. As noted on their website, they do not offer "cheap" excursions, saving on good transport, the professionalism of guides and the program”. This might need an additional explanation for the English-speaking clients to ensure that the “price” point is well explained as it is implemented differently in the western modern cultures. There are plenty of “cheap” 3-days trips to Istanbul you can book from any EU countries. Only if you agreed to arrive in Istanbul after along overnight trip ready to fully exhaust yourself rushing to the most touristic areas fighting with the crowd aiming to hear the history of the artefact you are visiting and maybe to look over the group shoulders to see “something”. Trust us, we’ve already experienced this! 2. They speak Bulgarian, Russian and English. 3. They offer reliable and comfortable transport from and to the Airport. 4. Their tours are very precisely developed for every traveler’s taste. Please keep in mind that you can customize your trip. 5. The communication is prompt and easy. All three (3) days were perfectly organized. Nothing was done in a rush and the time was precisely counted. A “skill” that is absolutely a must in 24/7 non-sleeping 20-milion+ Istanbul! Finally, we managed to fully understand and to see the history from a different perspective. Please note that we spent four (4) hours only in Topkapi palace! Special gratitude to Lutfi for sharing with us his extensive knowledge of history! At the end of each day, you will feel not only rich in history and indulged with the local vibes, but you will feel like you have spent precious time with friends you have known for years!
